French company Pan-Européenne (‘L’Odyssee,’ ‘Mr. Nobody’) and Ukrainian Arthouse Traffic (‘Donbass,’ ‘Tribe’) at the Film Market of Cannes agreed on joint work on a movie ‘Our breasts are our weapon: History of Femen movement.’
Ukrainian producer of the film is Denys Ivanov. He is a director of Arthouse Traffic company, the founder of Odesa International Film Festival and Children KinoFest Festival. The author of idea and the film director is Daria Zhuk.
The scenario will be written by the scriptwriter, film director, artists and activist Natalia Blok (‘These waves won’t be stopped’). The Femen activists will be consultants of the project.
The shooting of the film in joint production of Ukraine, France and Germany will start in 2020.
As it was reported earlier, the founder of Femen Oksana Shachko committed suicide in Paris in 2018. Oksana Shachko committed suicide on July 23 in her Paris apartments. Oksana left a note in English addressed to the Paris bohemians with which she closely negotiated the last time “all of you are fake.”
