Adam Osmaev, the pro-Ukrainian fighter of Chechen origin, leader of Dzhokhar Dudaev volunteer battalion does not blame Ukrainian special services over the murder of his wife Amina Okueva. He said this on air of 1+1 TV channel.
"No, what blames can there be? We have a war in Ukraine, a hybrid, undeclared war. Law enforcement agencies are working to the best of their ability. Of course, there is a place for improvement for all of us, I think this will come eventually. And it takes time to strengthen the law enforcement bodies and everything else, "Osmaev said.
As it was reported earlier Amina Okuyeva and Adam Osmayev were on their way back home, returning to Kyiv from a different region, when they were attacked by a group of unknown shooters. Adam was driving, when the attack occurred.
According to Osmaev, the attack commenced when they stopped at a railroad crossing. ‘Everything around me was shattered; the whole dash panel was torn to pieces. I drove as much as I could; they hit the engine, too, and the car was unable to move on. I tried to administer first aid, but she was shot in the head,’ Osmaev said.
He added he considers the attack an attempt to kill them both. When asked whether he blames the Russian saboteurs, Osmaev replied: ‘Of course. It’s the next step in the logic circuit, where they already attempted on the life of Mosiychuk. There’s a terrorist group involved,’ he said.
