District Court of Odesa sentenced the organizer of the informational network of "DNR" terrorists to 4 years and 5 months of imprisonment. This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
"At the end of 2015, intelligence officers found that four informers, on the instructions of curators from the so-called "DNR", were collecting data on Anti-Terrorist Operation forces in different cities of Ukraine and passed it over to terrorists. The offenders, in particular, informed the curators about call signs, radio frequencies, the number of personnel, weapons and armored vehicles and the positions of the Ukrainian military, "the report said.
The department added that the operatives of the SBU detained the spy network organizer when crossing the line of demarcation to obtain information from agents.
By a court decision, the organizer was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The verdict came into force.
As it was reported earlier the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Donetsk and Luhansk regions exposed another agent network of the pro-Russian militants of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the zone of the armed Donbas Conflict as the press service of the SBU reported.
It is reported that the citizen of Donetsk region was assigned to a duty by the terrorist to organize the collection of the confidential information at the military base near the demarcation line. A woman came into contact with the militaries and proposed them to pass the documents and data on the deployment sites of the detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for money.
