Only vaccinated, PCR tested and people who recovered from Covid to enter Verkhovna Rada

From today, admission to the Verkhovna Rada will be carried out in accordance with Resolution № 6154 on additional measures to combat the spread of coronavirus disease.

According to the document, for the period of Covid-19 quarantine the admission to the premises of administrative buildings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, members of Ukrainian parliament, employees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, assistants-consultants of parliamentarians of Ukraine and other visitors, as well as media representatives are allowed to enter only if they have a document confirming vaccination with one or more doses of vaccines, a negative test result for Covid-19 by PCR or a certificate of recovery from coronavirus, if the person became ill no more than 6 months before presentation of the document.

We will add that the certificate on vaccination will be required from adults, and a negative PCR test or certificate of recovery from people older than 7 years.

As it was reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced restrictions according to which in the regions of the red zone citizens cannot visit transport, shopping and entertainment centers, cafes, restaurants and cinemas without a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test.

On November 1, 2019 the law on sanctions against MPs for absenteeism came into force in Ukraine. MPs will be paid a salary for plenary sittings only if they participate in at least 70% of the Verkhovna Rada votes.
