A picket dedicated to the anniversary of the attack at Kateryna Handziuk, Ukrainian activist, was held near the Main department of Kherson police. Hromadsnke journalist Bogdan Kutepov was broadcasting the event on Facebook.

Video shows the participants throwing firecrackers, burning flares and smoke bombs.

“Police promise not to take the plaque away. At least, Deputy Head of Main Department of National Police said,” the message posted on Facebook reads.

Protesters wrote “Murder lives here” on the fence near the house of former assistant of Ukrainian MP Igor Poplavsky suspected of organizing assassination attempt.

Then, people arrived near the house of Deputy Head of Kherson Region State Administration Yevhen Ryshchuk.

Protesters showed up near Kherson Region Council. They were burning flares there. Protesters wrote “Manger, you will die”, “Manger is a devil” on the walls. They were chanting “Murders should be imprisoned”.

Then they went to Kherson City Council. A sign “Katya Handziuk’s murders will be punished” appeared there last night.
