The Central Election Commission (CEC) has appointed Oleh Didenko as the Head on October 4. The appropriate decision was made during the session of the Commission, as the Ukrainian News reported.

Oleh Didenko is 39 years old. He has a law degree; he has been working in the CEC since 2014.

The Verkhovna Rada changed the staff of the Election Commission in 2018 due to expiry of the term of its office; however, Didenko kept working in the Commission as he was included in the staff later than the other members, so his term was not expired then.
