The official results of the presidential elections in Ukraine were published on May 3 at the parliamentary newspaper.
Thus, according to the final results of the Central Election Commission, President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky got 73,22% of the people’s votes, in other words, he got the support of 13,5 million of the Ukrainians.
24,45% people voted for current president Petro Poroshenko, in other words, 4,5 million of the Ukrainians.
Totally, 18, 491,837 Ukrainians voted.
“Thus, according to the results of the second tour on April 21, 2019, on the regular election of the president of Ukraine on March 31, 2019, Volodymyr Zelensky, 1978 year of birth, artistic director of Kvartal 95 Studio, living in Kyiv, non-partisan, nominated as Servant for the People, elected as the president of Ukraine,” the message said.
Earlier we reported that the inauguration of Volodymyr Zelensky will take place with some surprises.
Later it was reported that Petro Poroshenko is ready to meet personally with Volodymyr Zelensky, the official winner of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
