The Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs refused to publish the list of individuals and entities, which suffered from the imposed sanction against Russia before the New Year as Ukrainian Truth reported, citing the ministry and journalists.
“The requested data is the service information and cannot be disclosed,” the last reply of the ministry says.
“In the previous reply, the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories said that the trustee of the requested information is the Cabinet of Minister. Government, in its turn, said that it is not trustee as sent the request to the ministry,” the message said.
In his turn, Deputy Minister of IDPs at Temporarily Occupied Territories Georgiy Tuka explained at 112 Ukraine show that there are two points of the article “On access to public information” which provide the non-disclosure of particular information.
“It is, particularly, the information contained in the documents of the subjects of the authority, which make the inter-department service correspondence, reports, recommendations, if they are connected with the development of the direction of the activity of the establishment or carrying of control, monitor, governmental functions by the bodies of the state power. Point number two: if the information is gathered during the operative and search counterintelligence work in the defense sphere of the country, which is not classified as the state secret,” Tuka said.
Considering these points, the proposal of the ministry is classified. Tuka noted: the publishing of the list depends on the decision of the National Security and Defense Council.
He also added that all information during the gathering, analysis and presentation is encrypted to prevent the consequences of the pre-term actions of the subject.
On December 26, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine endorsed the decision to impose sanctions against Russian physical and legal entities for holding unlawful elections on the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the Russian aggression near the Kerch Strait.
