Occupation court accused Ukrainian in sabotage in Crimea

Court of occupied Crimea sentenced Dmytro Shtyblikov, the citizen of Ukraine for five years of imprisonment and fine in the sum of 3.300 dollars as Radio Liberty reported.

He is accused of attempt to sabotage and illegal possession of weapons. Moreover, the FSB of Russian called the Ukrainian to be the officer of the Ukrainian special services while the Ukrainian Defense Ministry disapproved this information for many times.

The court also commented on the imprisonment of Shtyblikov.

‘The court took into account one year that Shtyblikov spent in the custody during the investigation so he has to spend four years in the prison’.

Also, it was reported that Shtyblikov pleaded guilty on all points of the accusation.

Shtyblikov was arrested in November 2016 in Crimea along with Volodymyr Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov. The FSB detained another so-called "Ukrainian saboteurs" who allegedly were planning sabotage on strategic sites of the occupied Crimea in Sevastopol on November 9. The detainees are allegedly members of the ‘terrorist group of the Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Intelligence Service’.
