Number of Covid-19 patients grows in Ukraine: 5,804 cases in 24 hours

In Ukraine, as of October 9, the number of people infected with Covid-19 increased up to 250,538. In 24 hours, 5,804 new cases of infection were registered as the National Security and Defense Council reported.

Totally, since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,779 people died (+89 in 24 hours); 110,650 patients recovered (+2,417 in 24 hours).

The highest daily growth of incidence is observed in Kyiv region – 766 people; in Kyiv – 567 cases. 630 people infected in Kharkiv region and 403 in Odesa region.

The lowest number of infected is observed in Kyrovohrad region – 28 people.

As we reported, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov warned the citizens that the current epidemiological situation in this country is even more complicated than it was in spring, when the pandemic just began.
