Paris police investigators have figured the spot of the start of the fire that ripped through Notre Dame Cathedral. CNN reports this referring to the police.

After police reviewed a bunch of amateur video and photos from witnesses, investigators concluded that the fire started at the center of the cathedral's roof towards the base of the spiral.

According to the report, there is a possibility that the fire alarm system sensors did not work properly. Besides, the law enforcers are focusing on potential problems with elevators set for builders.

Earlier, According to one version of the forensics, the reason Notre-Dame de Paris began to burn were troubles with the electricity, in particular, short circuit.

The officers of the security service informed the police that the center of the fire was located at the bottom of Notre-Dame de Paris spire at the side of the Seine.

According to the security guards, when the fire alarm went off, they came to the elevator, the fire was strong then and they could not do anything.  

The spire and the roof of the Notre Dame cathedral fell in a fire.

The press service of the President of France reported that Macron canceled the planned speech in the Elysee Palace in order to come to the cathedral.

The law enforcers order all the people to leave the streets near the cathedral and to go to safe places.
