Not all the members of the crews of the Ukrainian military vessels, seized by Russia in Azov Sea, have lawyers, as Djemil Temishev, the lawyer of the Ukrainian sailor Roman Mokryak, said in a commentary for 112 Ukraine.
“No, not everyone. Not everyone agreed to get involved in this case. I think, the case will be further passed to Moscow,” Temishev said.
According to him, Mokryak was not beaten. His defendant is doing well, despite the stress.
“Roman, - I understand that this is a stress for him, yet he’s doing well. He did not answer different provocative questions, he just smiled. My defendant was not beaten,” the lawyer said.
The lawyer supposed that in this situation, Mokryak might only be released by a political decision.
“I see the solution in a political decision. If it is reached, the Ukrainian sailors will come home,” he added.
