The North Korea’s Leader announced this at the plenary meeting of the central committee of the ruling Worker's Party of Korea (WPK).
"From April 21, North Korea will stop nuclear tests and launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles," the message says.
Kim Jong-un also stated that the nuclear test site is to be shut down to confirm the promise to suspend the tests.
Earlier, North Korea expressed its readiness to discuss denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula with the U.S. at the meeting of Kim Jong-un with Donald Trump. North Korea insists the meeting with Trump to be held in Pyongyang. Geneva is another place being considered. At the meeting with Japanese PM, Trump stated that the talks with Kim Jong-un are to be held at the beginning of June.
