North Korea accepted South Korea’s offer to meet on March 29 to discuss the terms and agenda of the inter-Korean summit in April, as Yonhap News reported.

North Korea agreed to conduct a high-level meeting in the northern part of a demilitarized zone between the states.

"North Korea delivered its agreement via the border communication channel today, saying it will send a three-member delegation headed by Ri Son-gwon, chairman of the Committee for Peaceful Reunification," the website reports.

South Korea delegation will be led by Cho Myung-gyun, Minister of Unification. Chung Eui-yong, President’s Advisor, Kang Kyung-wha, Foreign Minister, Song Young-moo, Defense Minister. Kim Jong-un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea, and Moon Jae-in, Republic of Korea President will meet at the inter-Korean summit.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he was ready to meet Kim Jong-un till May 2018 to discuss the current situation in the region. North Korea agreed to adopt a moratorium on nuclear and missile tests.
