No psychoactive substance in Poroshenko's blood, - tests

The research was conducted at four facilities in Kyiv, two private and two public ones

The rapid diagnostic test taken by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko showed no psychoactive substance, said the chief doctor of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital Sociotherapy. 112 Ukraine broadcasted it.

“With the permission of a person who took the test we used several methods to identify psychoactive substances in the body. Those were fast tests, and I can reveal the results – no psychoactive substance was found,” Volodymyr Yary said.

According to him, within two days, there will be a possibility to conduct more profound examination with a use of mass-selective gas chromatograph.

“Two hours after the procedure, we will have the results, complete information about the presence of absence of alcohol in the blood. According to the preliminary information, this procedure might last for two weeks. But we will make every effort to make it shorter,” Volodymyr Yary said.

He noted that the research was conducted in four facilities of the city – two private and two public ones.

“These are clinics “Borys”, Medicom, an ambulance hospital, and city’s drug abuse treatment,” Yary stressed.

As it was reported, the leaders of the presidential run are taking tests before the debates; it was one the conditions of Volodymyr Zelensky.

Petro Poroshenko took tests in the medical center of Olimpiyskiy stadium, Volodymyr Zelensky - in the medical diagnostic center Eurolab.
