Central Election Commission changed one of its old regulations

Central Election Commission changed one of its old regulations and cancelled the need to provide documents to change voting address, as the establishment reported on May 29.

The regulation No. 893 as of September 13, 0212 “On provision of temporary change of voting address without change of his/her voting address” was amended.

“In particular, the order of temporary change of voting address of the voter without change of his/her voting address does not provide for documents (copies of the documents) which confirm the need to temporary change the voting address,” Central Election Commission informed.

Earlier, one had to provide a document which reasons such necessity, for instance, certificate from work.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky officially dissolved the Verkhovna Rada and appointed the snap elections for July 21. The Cabinet of Ministers should provide the financing of the elections.
