There are no hindrances for Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to travel the world, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed on their Facebook.
The ministry noted that the Interpol found Russia’s inquiry on arresting Yatsenyuk unjustified and cancelled the order for his arrest. "So there are no official hindrances as to ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk moving around the world on the initiative or through the channels of the Interpol," the ministry noted.
As we reported earlier, Arseniy Yatsenyuk was detained at Geneva Airport. The detention happened upon Russia’s request. Previously Russia claimed that Yatsenyuk took part in the Chechen war on the side of the militants.
