There are no grounds for the introduction of the “red” level of the epidemic danger in any of the Ukrainian regions as Ukraine 24 TV channel reported citing Health Minister Viktor Lyashko.
“Currently, there are no grounds for the introduction of the “red” level of the epidemic danger in any of the country’s regions. There are only rates to transfer the territory of the country to the “yellow” level,” Lyashko said.
According to the Health Minister, the adaptive quarantine foresees that Ukraine enters the “yellow” level from the “green” one all over the country. In the future, when the “yellow” level is applied, the regional division acts. Some regions will be in the “yellow” zone, some in the “orange” zone and some regions will face the “red” level of the epidemic danger.
The minister noted that currently, the system of health care copes with the amount of the diseased. The average weekly number of hospitalized people varies from 6,000 up to 6,500 diseased. 11% of beds with oxygen are occupied with patients but 65% of the hospitalized people need oxygen therapy.
Earlier, the Health Ministry has refuted the information on the introduction of distance learning in the territory of Ukraine.
As we reported, Ukraine will be in the "red" quarantine zone no earlier than November and the lockdown cannot be avoided, according to chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin.
