As of November 15, there are no confirmed deaths due to vaccination in Ukraine, chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin stated, the press service of the Ministry of Healthcare reports.

According to him, the vast majority of adverse events after immunization are mild cases, and all completed investigations into deaths have found no connection with vaccination.

"According to the latest data, about 0.018% of the total number of vaccinated patients have adverse events after immunization. The vast majority are minor cases. There were 124 fatalities within 30 days after immunization. That is, these are cases where a person had a history of vaccination and died within 30 days after vaccination. Such cases require a separate investigation. I would like to emphasize that the relationship with vaccination is not causation. All completed investigations into the connection with vaccination have not been revealed," Ihor Kuzin said.

He noted that there is no scientifically proven data on which vaccines are better or worse tolerated by patients.

"It's about an individual's response to a drug. And the reaction can be to any vaccine, not just against Covid-19. If we talk specifically about adverse events after immunization against coronavirus disease, then CoviShield since the beginning of the vaccination campaign gave about 0.02% of adverse events from the total number of reports of such cases after vaccination. The CoronaVac vaccine gave about 0.08%. Pfizer vaccine - 0.01%, AstraZeneca - 0.02%, Moderna - 0.01-0.02%," the Chief State Sanitary Doctor explained.

As it was reported, 39.4% of citizens have already been vaccinated with one dose of Covid vaccine, and 28% of Ukrainians have been fully vaccinated in Ukraine.
