Next Trilateral Group meeting to be held in Minsk on Feb. 28

The next meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) will be held in Minsk on Feb. 28, as OSCE special representative in the TCG Martin Sajdik said, BELTA reports.

Summing up today’s negotiations, Sajdik said that the economic subgroup discussed the possibilities of renewing the work of Ukrainian Vodafone mobile carrier in certain parts of Donetsk region.

Apart from that, the group continued discussing the issues of water supply and covering the debt to former employees of Ukrainian rail ys in certain parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The issue of ecological security was also discussed in connection with flooding of coal mines in the conflict zone.

The working group on humanitarian issues discussed further steps necessary for the next prisoner exchange.
