The next batch of coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Ukraine in March. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal spoke about this during a government meeting.

"In March, we expect the arrival of the next batch of safe vaccines from other manufacturers," Shmyhal said.

However, the prime minister did not specify which manufacturers' vaccines are expected in Ukraine.

Meanwhle, the first stage of vaccination from coronavirus kicks off in Ukraine. According to Maksym Stepanov, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister, since 7 a.m. Wednesday, the first doses are being distributed across the regions of the country.

"Ukraine is well supplied with vaccines for the first and second phases, according to the Healthcare Ministry; we have such agreements, and we understand terms of supplies of the vaccine in Ukraine," the official said.

According to the Minister, the authority kept its word about launching the vaccination campaign in February.

The first person to receive the vaccine was Yevhen Horenko, a resuscitator at the Cherkasy Regional Hospital.
