In Ukraine today, January 13, police officers from various cities received anonymous reports of mines. Explosives are already being sought in Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Luhansk and Cherkasy. As a result, shopping malls and one school were temporarily closed.

Today, January 13, school № 6 was "mined" in Khmelnytsky. The message was received by the police. All emergency services are at the scene. Police surrounded the area, evacuating students, teachers and school staff.

"Explosives experts and cynologists are conducting a thorough inspection of the school premises and the surrounding area," law enforcement officers added.

At the same time, the Cherkasy police received an anonymous report that all shopping centers of the city are "mined"Law enforcement officers are inspecting buildings and adjacent areas for explosives. Police are also evacuating visitors and employees of the malls. All the circumstances of the event are being established.

"The event was duly registered in the Journal of Unified Registration of Statements and Reports of Criminal Offenses. Based on the results of the inspection, it will be given a legal qualification. All the circumstances of the incident are being established," the police added.

All shopping centers of Kherson are "mined" as well. Law enforcement officers carefully inspect buildings and adjacent areas for explosives. Police are also evacuating visitors and employees of the malls.

Anonymous information about "mining" of shopping centers was received by the Luhansk police today, January 13.

"The work of the situation center headed by the acting head of the Head Office of the National Police Vitaly Tarasov was immediately launched. Personnel of the Head Office of the National Police, territorial divisions are raised on alarm, mobile crews, explosives technicians, cynologists, investigative and operative groups and fighters of special forces together with employees of the State Emergency Service, SBU and other law enforcement agencies work out all objects," chief of police Tetiana Pohukay said.

In addition, according to the local Telegram channel, "Kyiv" shopping mall was "mined" in Poltava. Police are carefully inspecting the shopping complex and outbuildings belonging to the complex. Police are currently evacuating workers and visitors.

Police are also checking information about the "mining" of shopping centers in Zhytomyr. At present, law enforcement officers are evacuating employees and visitors of the shopping center on Kyivska Street and Zhytny Market.

The wave of "mines" covered Ukraine yesterday as well, on January 12. In particular, the central Christmas tree was "mined" in Odesa. Also in Cherkasy, Lviv, Mykolayiv and Dnipro yesterday there were reports of "mining" of schools. Lev Tolstoy Square, Palace of Sports metro stations in Kyiv and the transfer were closed to the entrance and exit due to an anonymous report of "mining" on January 12.

According to the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, 600 objects were "mined" in different regions of Ukraine on January 12.
