The Ministry of Social Policy in the new Cabinet is now headed by Maryna Lazebna, who replaced Yulia Sokolovska in this post.
Maryna Lazebna was born in the village of Piskovka, Kyiv region. She was educated at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. PhD in Economics.
At various times, she worked in the Ministry of Economics, the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers and the department of organizing the work of the deputy prime minister.
From May 2013 to March 2014 she headed the State Employment Service of Ukraine.
Until October 2019, she led the State Social Service.
Declaration of incomes
According to the declaration for 2018, Maryna Lazebna owns a land plot in Piskovka, as well as an apartment in Russia.
A number of other properties are jointly owned by Maryna Lazebna, her husband, as well as her son.
The new Minister of Social Policy has 30,411 hryvnias (1236 USD) in her bank accounts.
