A law on legislative amendments concerning defense of human rights for health care. The document was published in the Golos Ukrainy three months ago.

The law provides every Ukrainian citizen with a right for health care, a possibility to get an independent medical examination in particular, if a person is to undertake compulsory treatment.

Such measures are to be applied to people, who committed socially dangerous act or a crime (and have a dangerous illness) may be applied only under the conditions and order, arranged by the law.

As we reported earlier, Verkhovna Rada with 242 MPs’ votes adopted a relevant law on November 14.
