In Kyiv, 2,024 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected on November 2, and another 69 people died, a new anti-record, mayor of the capital Vitaly Klitschko reports on his Facebook.

The largest number of cases was detected in Desnianskyi district - 613, in Darnytskyi - 338, and in Sviatoshynskyi district - 204 cases.

Over the past day, 1,152 women aged 18 to 92 and 746 men aged 18 to 90 fell ill. As well as 61 girls from 16 days to 17 years and 65 boys from 3 months to 17 years.

205 patients with Covid-19 and 298 people with suspected Covid-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized in the capital's hospitals. At the same time, 1,110 Kyiv residents recovered.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in the capital, 263,559 people have been infected with the coronavirus. At the same time, 6,337 deaths were recorded during the same period.

As it was reported earlier, 23,393 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine on November 2. Particularly, 720 people died.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the cases were registered in Dnipropetrovsk (+1,935), Odesa (+1,858), Zaporizhia (+1,558), Kharkiv (+1,374) regions, and in Kyiv (+2,024).
