The new, festive ceasefire regime should begin in Donbas from the midnight of December 29. Yevhen Marchuk, the representative of Ukraine at the Trilateral Contact Group made such statement as 112.ua reported.
"According to him, the Ukrainian side at the Trilateral Contact Group proposed to establish the ceasefire regime on December 19 in Minsk.
We offered to introduce this regime, in other words, the indeterminate ceasefire beginning with tomorrow’s night. To be precise, from 0:01 on December 29. There were slightly another offers, but in brief, we succeeded to achieve such agreement today. And it is reported today, as I, as the representative of Ukraine at the Trilateral Contact Group participated in this session of the task group and we confirmed today that tomorrow (on December 29, - 112.international) starting from 0:00, Ukraine provide the full-scale ceasefire regime,” Marchuk said.
According to him, this truce will be maximally used for the repair of the objects of the infrastructure, which are currently damaged.
Earlier Serhiy Nayev, the Joint Forces Commander reported that since April 30, 2018, when Joint Forces Operation was launched in Donbas, 450 pro-Russian militants were eliminated.
