On Wednesday, May 26, a new batch of the Chinese coronavirus vaccine CoronaVac was delivered to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on Facebook.

"Another batch of 500,000 doses of CoronaVac vaccine produced by Sinovac Biotech arrived in Ukraine on May 26, 2021," the message says.

The Ministry of Health recalled that vaccinations with CoronaVac in Ukraine began on April 13.

The vaccine arrived in Ukraine in single-dose vials. For a complete immunization against Covid-19, two doses are required, the interval of which is 28 days.

Ukraine has already received from Sinovac Biotech 1,200,000 doses of vaccine out of the contracted 1,900,000 million doses.

As we rererted earlier, a cargo plane landed at Kyiv international airport, carrying the batch of Pfizer vaccine. It's the first batch procured for the government funds.

It is the Comirnaty vaccine produced by Pfizer/BioNTech, says the message.

Now, the vaccine is supposed to pass the customs control area; then, it will be sent to storages and redistributed across the regions of Ukraine.
