On September 26, Ukraine's National Council on TV and Radio Broadcasting is considering the issue of deprivation of the digital broadcasting licenses of 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

Unfortunately, there is practically no doubt about the negative for 112 Ukraine TV Channel decision, especially considering the political bias of the National Council and its readiness to serve any government. So, powers and authorities of some members of the National Council expired in July 2019, this fact was de facto recognized by Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada, and taking any decisions by them is actually power abuse, and the National Council itself is not competent. The statements by Kostinsky, a member of the National Council, that the National Council "gets it over with" 112 Ukraine TV Channel by canceling the licenses. This is another proof that decisions in the National Council are made in advance, without any democratic procedure, which is nonsense for a democratic state.

Earlier, the National Council couldn't take because of the court ruling. However, the court overturned their own decision after direct pressure on the judges by the authorities, which was repeatedly reported in the media.

"112 Ukraine" requires the National Council not to deprive the channel of its digital broadcasting licenses.

"112 Ukraine" pleads the government not to be afraid of free media and to ensure the right of TV viewers to choose by themselves which TV channel to watch.

Freedom of speech is the core value of democracy.

Do not destroy democracy. Do not destroy freedom of speech. Do not take away the licenses from 112 Ukraine TV channel.
