National Security Council extends sanction list against smugglers

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) has extended the sanction list against smugglers. A citizen of Germany, two Ukrainians, and 24 companies were added to the list as NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov reported during the briefing.

“The list of sanctions against smugglers was updated. Three people entered the list, particularly, Oleksandr Akst, Valery Falkovsky, and Vladyslav Studynets. Moreover, 24 companies affiliated with these people entered the list,” he stated.

On April 2, the National Defense Council imposed personal sanctions against the top 10 Ukrainian smugglers. In particular, the assets of persons involved in smuggling were blocked. On April 4, Zelensky enforced the decision of the Defense Council.

Besides, the activities of all companies from the "smuggle" list of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine were blocked.
