The National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) check the possible connection between the incidents of the tear-gas inhalation by the pupils in different regions. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman claimed this as 112.ua reported.
'The number of the incidents, when the children disperse the tear-gas at the schools, has increased. The National Police and SBU work to expose whether there is a connection between these cases or it is some kind of a wave. We need to establish people who sale these sprays, how the children get them as there are some particular people who do this', he noted.
Prime Minister has ordered Interior Ministry to hold the consultations with children in the schools to prevent such incidents.
'I signed an order yesterday and asked to strengthen the work and explain children at the schools that such actions are unacceptable. I think that everybody understands it. Also, we need to consider the reasons of the appearance of such incidents more carefully – it can take place without coordination or all this was coordinated between the schools. These incidents should be stopped. Consequently, the Interior Ministry will hold the consultations with pupils to prevent them', Groysman said.
As we reported in the result of spraying of an unknown gas, 37 children of Kharkiv school №3 turned to doctors for help, 26 of them were sent to the hospital on May 22.
On May 21, the same incident took place in Mykolaiv: 400 children were evacuated from the school #6. 41 children suffered, another 40 were hospitalized.
