The National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine imposed fines on two program service providers from Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region for rebroadcasting Russian TV channels, as Sergiy Kostynsky, the member of the Council, reported on Facebook.
“The providers were rebroadcasting foreign channels, including those of the aggressor state, which were not permitted for rebroadcasting on the territory of Ukraine and were limited for rebroadcasting by Council’s decision,” the message says.
The regulator reports that this way, each of the providers will pay $413 to the state budget.
Earlier, Kostynsky said that the broadcasting in Crimea would have 75% of Ukrainian content since October.
As it was reported, the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine issued new permission for temporary broadcasting under a facilitated procedure in occupied Donbas and Crimea.
