The National Bank of Ukraine introduced two commemorative coins valued 5 and 10 hryvnias with An planes, which entered the Ukraine’s Plane series.
The 10 hryvnias coin is made out of sterling silver, with a “proof” mintage quality category, 31,1 grams of weight, 38,6 mm in diameter, the mintage is 3,5000 units.
The 5 hryvnias coin is made out of nickel-silver, with a “special uncirculated” quality category, the mintage is 40,000 units.
These commemorative coins were produced within Ukraine’s Plane series and are dedicated to the An-132 multipurpose aircraft, created by the team of the Antonov State-owned company thanked its long-term experience and the use of brand new aviation technologies.
The composition consisting of a sun, a stylized wing and the birds are placed on the head side of the coin; An-132 plane is depicted on the tail side.
Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine has issued a commemorative coin dedicated to Ukrainian volunteers.
