National Anti-Corruption Bureau searches National Guard, Ukrbud premises

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is conducting searches at the premises of the National Guard of Ukraine and Ukrbud Development corporation. This was reported by the Ukrainian News agency with the reference to the source in law enforcement bodies.

The searches are held in the frameworks of case on construction of housing for the National Guard military servicemen.

The case provisions the conduct of 20 searches in total.

It is also reported that NABU is preparing the note of suspicion for the former National Guard commander Yuriy Allerov. He is suspected of a crime under Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (misappropriation or seizure of property by abuse of office). The investigation believes that the illegal actions of Allerov during the construction of housing for the National Guard inflicted a loss of 3 million dollars on the state.

As it was reported earlier, the detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) searched the house of Vadym Kostyuchenko, the Vice President of Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU). The FFU is suspected of the corruption schemes, including the illegal use of the state funds.

Besides, the plant of the federation on the production of the artificial grass was searched as well as the partakers of the criminal case investigated by the NABU since June 2018.
