As it was reported, the National Anti-Corruption Burea had opened a criminal case against the former President and ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin. The case was opened in accordance with the court's decisions. The investigation related to the possible abuse of authority.
Earlier, the ex-President of Ukraine did not show up for the questioning at the State Investigation Bureau (SIB) as SIB Director Roman Truba reported.
“His (Poroshenko’s) lawyer came; he explained the reason for the non-appearance of his client – he is the MP of Ukraine now and works in the session hall. I do not exclude that such argument will be used as cliché at next non-appearance for investigative actions of the SIB,” Truba noted.
