Nasirov says act of violence was committed against him

According to the official, the impossible provision of medical assistance for two days was violent act against him

Suspended head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov announced that the act of violence was committed against him. The official considers the fact that the provision of medical assistance for him during two days was made impossible a use of violence. He reported this during the court hearing, according to Espreso.TV.

"I consider the actions of prosecutors an act of violence, as they made the provision of medical assistance for me impossible. They put my health and probably even life at risk. I was deprived of the possibility to receive medical care over two days, meet physiological needs, get food. Over 8 hours family, lawyers were not allowed to me, they explained it with me being in convoy," he noted.

At the same time, Nasirov added that he was unconscious when he was taken out of hospital, thus he cannot answer the judge’s question regarding use of violence against him at that moment of time.

As it is known, the head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is suspected in abuse of authority and embezzlement of public funds totaling some $74 million. Investigation considers that Nasirov, acting in the interests of MP Onyshchenko, groundlessly provided tax obligations by installments for a number of enterprises in terms of "gas case".
