Names of victims of boat crash in Turkey revealed

Ukraine’s Embassy in Turkey published the names of the sailors who survived in the boat crash in Turkey, as the service reported on Twitter.

“Stanislav Shevchuk, Pavlo Milnichenko, Oleg Gerashchenko, Yevgen Ilchenko, Yevgen Yatsenko, Denis Skachko, Tetyana Budko are among the Ukrainian sailors who survived in the catastrophe in the Black Sea near Samsun,” the message says.

Earlier, a cargo ship under Panama flag, which came from the Russian port of Azov, sent a distress signal around 148 km (92 miles) away from the north-eastern Black Sea province Samsun. It was noted that four Ukrainians died as a result, and seven were rescued. According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the tragedy happened due to a wave hit.
