Naftogaz-Ukraine will decrease gas prices for industrial consumers by 8% due to the fact that gas on the international market depreciates, as Andriy Kobolev, CEO of the Company, reported on Facebook.
“According to the decision of the government, Naftogaz’ price for commercial consumers forms the gas price for the population which will be imposed next month. Therefore, in July, Naftogaz will decrease gas prices by almost 8%, $207 per a thousand cubic meters,” Kobolev said.
Earlier, it was reported that there were no grounds for the gas prices to grow over the next several months, as Andriy Gerus, the presidential envoy in the Cabinet of Ministers said.
As it was reported, Ukraine’s Prime Minsiter Volodymyr Groysman stated that an attempt to reduce gas tariffs might create serious consequence for Ukraine.
