The 'Naftogaz' claimed that the company will not pay for the gas that was supplied by the 'Gazprom' to the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions as the press service of the 'Naftogaz' reported at Facebook.
'Stockholm Arbitrary Court pointed that 'Naftogaz' is not obliged to pay for the gas that was supplied to the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to any other person, besides the 'Naftogaz'. The future supplies to the mentioned territories will not concern the 'Naftogaz' until the stop of the occupation of the territories at the East of Ukraine. These supplies will not be included in the annual volumes of the supplies under the contract. Those who received the gas from the 'Gazprom' should pay to the 'Gazprom'', the message said.
As we reported 'Naftogaz-Ukraine' claimed that it has won arbitration against Russian Gazprom under a contract for the gas supply on all disputable issues.
In particular, it is reported that Stockholm Arbitration reduced the price of Russian gas for Naftogaz in the second quarter of 2014 by almost 27.4% - from $ 485 to $ 352 per 1,000 cubic meters. It was noted that due to the revision of the contract price, Naftogaz saved $1.8 billion in gas purchased in 2014-2015.
