“We have got good news – Naftogaz will not sell gas for DTEK (Luhansk TPP) at a special preferential price. There will be a market price. Thus, there will be no loss of $3,9 – $7,9 million for the state company and the government either,” Gerus stated.
This issue was discussed during a special meeting initiated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry and Andriy Gerus, the Representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers.
The press service of the government reports that the decision about the provision of Luhansk residents with electricity without the reduced price will be approved by the Cabinet of the Minister at the next meeting.
