All the income Kobolev received from Naftogaz since February till the end of 2019 would be spent on charity.
“The means will be sent to three organizations by equal parts – to the one which supports the families of the deceased soldiers, another one which supports the army and the third one which helps children diagnosed with cancer. I have chosen these organizations because I trust them. I am convinced that the money will be spent transparently and for good, yet I reserve a right to change the list of the organizations and the amount of the allocated means. The percent of the income remains unchangeable – 100%,” he wrote.
Kobolev explained that his salary and benefits are being discussed on a political level, and many politicians started to use it as a tool to discredit the reforms and to approve their ratings.
