Andriy Kobolev, Naftogaz-Ukraine CEO, stated that he refused from salary and benefits, as he wrote on his Facebook page.

All the income Kobolev received from Naftogaz since February till the end of 2019 would be spent on charity.

“The means will be sent to three organizations by equal parts – to the one which supports the families of the deceased soldiers, another one which supports the army and the third one which helps children diagnosed with cancer. I have chosen these organizations because I trust them. I am convinced that the money will be spent transparently and for good, yet I reserve a right to change the list of the organizations and the amount of the allocated means. The percent of the income remains unchangeable – 100%,” he wrote.

Kobolev explained that his salary and benefits are being discussed on a political level, and many politicians started to use it as a tool to discredit the reforms and to approve their ratings.
