Journalists of the three channels ZIK, NEWSONE, and 112 Ukraine, illegally closed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, have united to create a new TV channel, Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent), which will inform viewers about what is happening in the country.
Journalist and TV presenter Nadia Sass reported this.
“We, the journalists of three TV channels - ZIK, NEWSONE, and 112 Ukraine, have united in order to do our job again, to continue informing our citizens about what is happening in our country. And you understand perfectly well that the TV channels were illegally closed, and, of course, it was a personal decision to declare war against us, journalists, the decision of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky," Nadia Sass said.
She reminded that the audience of the three TV channels amounts to around 7 million viewers.
"Our main task is to tell about the real situation in the country, about tariffs, about the situation with the coronavirus, about corruption. And, unfortunately, instead of fulfilling their election promises, the authorities decided to go the other way - the most wrong and faulty one," the journalist emphasized.
According to her, now the team of the new TV channel is considering new formats that can surprise viewers. Along with this, of course, the old TV programs, which Ukrainians are so fond of, will not disappear from the screen.
"It is not accidental that the channel will have the name Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent) as we are truly independent from anybody, we are working for Ukrainian citizens and they have to know that the truthful and honest information about what is happening in the country will undoubtedly be voiced for them from the screens,” the TV presenter summed up.
Soon, the viewers will be able to watch the channel on TV screens, and not only on YouTube. Webcast of the TV channel is available on the website pnk.tv.
The new TV channel will broadcast on ASTRA-4A satellite, 5°E. It can also be found on the largest cable networks of the service providers Volia, Triolan and other operators. The faces of Pershiy Nezalezhniy will be all the figures that are iconic and familiar to the viewer of the TV channels closed by Zelensky. The list includes Diana Panchenko, Pavlo Kuzheev, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Vasyl Apasov, Yuriy Bibik, Andriy Lashch, Rostyslav Sukhachov and others.
