Kyiv Solomiansky District Court obliged National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) to begin criminal proceeding against Andriy Parubiy, the Spokesperson of Ukraine’s Parliament. The relevant order was revealed in the Unified Registry of the Pre-trial Investigations.

As it was reported, on February 22, the claimant passed to NABU a statement on the violation committed by Parubiy – misuse of public funds, incur expenditures of the budget or provision of credit from the budget without established budgetary allocations or with their excess.

NABU received all the information, but it was not included in the Unified Registry of the Pre-trial Investigations. The claimant applied to the court with a complaint against NABU workers demanding to oblige them to open an investigation.

“Having heard the explanations of the participants of the case, having examined the complaint, the investigating judge believes that the complaint should be satisfied,” the court order as of April 2, 2019 reads.

“To oblige the civil servant of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, who is responsible for the inclusion of data into the Unified Registry of Pre-trial Investigations, to include the information about the criminal proceedings into the Unified Registry of Pre-trial Investigations not later than 24 hours,” the document reads.
