The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) intends to interview the President’s Office Head Andriy Bohdan and Kyiv City Mayor Vitaly Klitschko in the coming days. This was reported by Ukrainian News referring to the source in law enforcement agencies.
“We will call both of them soon,” says the source.
As it is reported, the officials will be called for the questioning on the case of the possible $20,000,000 bribe offering to Bohdan.
As it was reported earlier, Mayor of Kyiv and Chairman of Kyiv City State Administration Vitaly Klitschko asked the NABU to open the case on alleged bribery proposed to Head of President’s Office Andriy Bohdan in the amount of $20,000,000. Mass media reported that the criminal case had been opened.
According to him, the criminal proceeding was opened under Article No. 369 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (proposition of illegal benefit to an official).
We recall that Maryana Bezugla, the MP candidate from Servant of the People party (single-constituency district No.217) is reported to have bribed her campaigners.
