Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk stated that his resignation letter is written in accordance with the law as 112 Ukraine reported.
“I appealed to the president of Ukraine, you already know about it, passed my resignation letter. It is formalized in accordance with the law, Constitution of Ukraine; it is addressed to the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the president has the right to submit it to the parliament at any moment,” Honcharuk said.
As we reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk stated he filed the letter of resignation.
Later, the President’s Office stated that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky received the resignation letter of Honcharuk.
Earlier, Honcharuk found himself in the wiretapping scandal; Ukrainian media leaked the embarrassing conversation among Honcharuk, ministers of his Cabinet, members of the President's Office and National Bank officials. The interlocutors discussed the ways how to explain President Zelensky pros and cons of the declining dollar exchange rate. Apparently, the officials referred to Zelensky's poor economic education.
