National Police appointed former Head of Kyiv region police Dmytro Tsenov as the Head of police officers in Joint Forces Operation, as First Deputy Chairman of National Police Vyacheslav Abroskin reported on Facebook.
“Today in the morning a new Head of police forces in Joint Forces Operation zone Dmytro Tsenov was introduced to Joint Forces Commander, general Oleksandr Sirsky. Over a thousand National Police officers serve in the ranks of Joint Forces Operation. The main task in to identify terrorists, seize of arms and explosive devices, maintain public order,” he noted.
As it was reported, Dmytro Tsenov resigned a few days ago due to the murder of a five-year-old boy Kyrylo Tlyayev in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky. Two local law enforcers are suspected of this crime.
State Bureau of Investigation informed that the rifle which killed five-year-old Kyrylo Tlyavov in Kyiv region was not found.
As it was reported, the leadership of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky police department of Kyiv region was suspended from their duties after the death of a five-year-old Kyrylo injured by the police officers.
On May 31, a boy with physical injuries in the form of a severe closed-head injury, brain contusion, internal brain hematoma and a fracture of the temporal bone was delivered to the intensive care unit of the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky hospital. On June 3, Kyrylo died; the doctors could not save his life.
According to police officers, around 4:00 pm on May 31, four children were walking alongside their place of residence. The 5-year-old boy, due to carelessness, slipped and fell on the asphalt concrete pavement and stone, as a result of which he suffered a head injury.
