Four suspects in the murder of 43-year-old Donbas battalion soldier Vitaly Oleshko (call sign ‘Sarmat’) were issued a noted of suspicion. This was reported by the speaker of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Lysenko on Facebook.
"Four individuals were informed of the suspicion under the Criminal Code of Ukraine for an deliberate murder by a group of people of an activist in Berdyansk, Zaporizhia region," the statement reads.
Earlier, it was reported that one suspect in murder of former Donbas combatant is an ex-fighter of Tornado battalion. Anton Herashchenko, the MP of People's Front and the Interior Ministry counselor said that the convict, formerly the sniper of the said unit, may face the life imprisonment for this particular crime.
'As for the rest of the detainees, they are the accomplices in the murder, the sidekicks. They all played certain parts; someone served as a driver, someone turned the victim's attention', Herashchenko added.
As we reported earlier, two gunshot wounds took the life of Vitaliy Oleshko, the former volunteer fighter of Donbas battalion and the active participant in Donbas conflict. A gunfire attack occurred in the southeastern city of Berdyansk on Tuesday.
