Obolon district court of Kyiv ruled that 14-year-old Bohdan Popov, son of MP Ihor Popov, is to be under round-the-clock house arrest until January 29.
“I am very thankful to the lawyers for professional, skilful work, that they collected the valid evidence. We will follow all the demands, won’t pressure anyone, will talk to the victims only in the presence of an investigator in order to fulfil the demands on the compensation of all damages. These are the things we are ready to do without waiting for the trial, because, obviously, we admit to everything,” Ihor Popov said,
MP Anton Herashchenko noted that the teenager is to wear an ankle monitor.
As we reported earlier, a son of MP Ihor Popov, Bohdan, born in 2003, was detained together with another individual on the suspicion of robbing a shop in Kyiv. This offence foresees 7 to 12 years of imprisonment.
