MPs initiate Savchenko’s removal from National Security and Defence Committee

The Verkhovna Rada deputies from different factions have prepared a draft resolution to expel Batkivshchyna MP Nadia Savchenko from the National Security and Defense Committee of Ukraine. This was reported by the Radical Party deputy Ihor Mosiychuk on his Facebook page, where he also published photos of resolution and appeals.

The appeal was signed by unaffiliated MP Vitaliy Kupriy, parliamentarians who are members of the National Security and Defense Committee Iryna Fryz, Ivan Vynnyk (Petro Poroshenko Bloc), Yuriy Bereza and Dmytro Tymchuk (Narodny Front).

Mosiychuk announced that he would insist that this resolution is considered on the nearest session of the Parliament.

Earlier it was reported that Savchenko meetings with militants benefit neither her nor Ukraine, according to Poroshenko. On December 12 it became known that MP Nadiya Savchenko secretly met with the leaders of the "DPR" and "LPR" in Minsk.
