The Verkhovna Rada has appointed Pavlo Ryabikin as the new Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine. 237 MPs voted for the appointment.

"I am submitting a proposal to appoint Pavlo Ryabikin to the office of Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine," the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal said.
Ryabikin replaced Oleg Urusky as minister, whose resignation had previously been supported in parliament.
He worked as a lawyer-consultant, legal adviser, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark, Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration, Chairman of Boryspil Airport.
