Non-affiliated MP Yury Levchenko claimed that he fired a smoke pellet in the Verkhovna Rada. He claimed this from the parliamentary tribune. It was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

'I officially claim from the tribune of the Verkhovna Rada that I fired this smoke pellet and I think that I did everything right because I would burn this parliament to not allow you doing anti-constitution things, to not break the oath, to not mock at the Ukrainian people. I fired this smoke pellet and will fire it many times to make these traitors not be there'', Levchenko said.

Earlier the correspondent of 112 Ukraine noted that there are smoke in the hall and the proper smell.

'A smoke pellet fell in the hall during the speech Sergy Sobolev from 'Fatherland' and considering of the second draft law on special status of Donbas and peculiarities of the self-government. It fell from the doors where Samopomich is sitting. We do not know who did this. Andry Teteruk from the People's Front removed the smoke pellet. The session hall and presidium are wrapped in light smoke and we can smell it', the correspondent said.

He noted that the session was not stopped due to the smoke.
